Hanging Out

Today has been one of the most laid back days of the 4 day weekend so far. We actually slept in until nearly 9:00 and never left the house until later in the afternoon to run down and cure a craving for Chinese fast food at Panda Express.

I finally finished the game I have been mentioning I have been working through, "The Room". It was a really good game, great graphics and challenging but not to the point you became frustrated and were ready to just forget about playing it ever again. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would and am hoping that the developers decide to do an update with more chapters in the game or make another game that compliments it or something. My next game may have to be The Walking Dead for iPad. I watched some reviews and it looks like something I would enjoy. Its more of a "choose your own adventure" type game but I really enjoy that style.

I also decided I better get on the treadmill as I do pretty much everyday and work off some of the laziness and Thanksgiving food that is stored away in my belly. I hopped on and did just over 3 miles as planned which felt pretty good as it always does. I am not sure if I will take Oggy tonight for his .8 mile walk or not but if so that is a good days worth of cardiovascular activity if I do say so myself. We were planning to take him to the Sparks Marina today but the day sort of got away from us and we allowed it to so we could enjoy another lazy day. I don't think he will hold it against us, I took him for a nice long walk last night after all.
 
Oh speaking of last night. We watched the movie BRAVE that we downloaded from iTunes on Apple TV. I was not entirely sure if I was going to like it or not and even though I was able to predict the exact direction and outcome of the movie from pretty much the start it still ended up being a good movie, heck it even managed to choke Cicely up a little which is always a good sign that the movie was well written. We had originally planned to watch Men In Black 3 but that will have to wait for another week or two. I thought it had been released for rental but it's only out for purchase or some type of pre-release rental for $11.99. Nah, I can wait another week and save the cash.

Back to work tomorrow so its time to enjoy the rest of the night and time off of work before we jump back into it with both feet tomorrow. Come to think of it, it's our first week back for a full week so I imagine it will feel like a lifetime. We don't get much time off this year for Christmas other than Christmas day which sucks. Last year we had a company-wide closure for the week of Christmas and I think they should have continued that but it bothered enough people that they decided to eliminate it this year. Oh well maybe we can just take a few extra days off and enjoy it on our own time, we will see how busy we are once it gets a little closer.

Anyway as mentioned it has been a great time away and I am surprisingly not yet ready to get back to the normal workdays. Spending time with family and hanging out at home with the fuzzy kid is addicting and only makes me want more of it.
