Task Mastery

Another great day of getting things done and making my list of to do's and wanna do's shorter and shorter.

Spiderwebs

Today's photo I have been meaning to take all week and keep forgetting and by the time i remember the frost is gone. There were several webs on various things on the patio but the one in the photo was the biggest and most pristine. I am really glad I was able to get a shot of it today, well Cicely went out and took it for me since she was already in some warm clothes, thanks Cizzle!

Logitech Harmony Touch

After some morning coffee, Blind Dog Colombian blend today, I started setting up our new Logitech Harmony Touch remote.

I started on this project first thing because I figured it was going to be an all day project. To my surprise it was extremely easy. The way Logitech's setup wizard guides you through the process of setting up remotes and configurations that turn on multiple devices with a single touch is awesome to say the least. I can not think of another device as intuitive yet powerful in this category.

After the wizard completed I was then able to go in and customize a few buttons that I wanted changed as well as a few I wanted to add because they were not there by default. Again super easy to do and very intuitive. I even setup swipe gestures to allow me to do things like fast forward, rewind, volume up and down etc. I plan to add some custom icons soon as well since the option to do so is there.

All I can say is if you are looking for a bad-ass remote that "does it all perfectly" and have the extra $250 then go for the Harmony Touch, it is worth every dime!

Nephew

Tonight we had to drive over to the West side of town to meet my nephew Cody. He hired Cicely to make him this cool custom ring, in his old high school colors for his girlfriend. I though it was really cool of him to do that for her - they grow up so dam fast! Speaking of growing ip fast, Cody's birthday is coming up this week so I can give him his money and card at the same time. I like that, more personal than simply throwing it in the mailbox.

Evening Plans

Once finished with grocery shopping and the usual Sunday stuff it's time for supercross since I have had it recorded since 10:00 this morning and have been too busy to watch it. I have had to avoid Twitter and Facebook posts about it since yesterday because it was not broadcast until this morning - hate when they do that, but at least it was on TV!

Anyway, I think I will hit the treadmill and kill two birds with one stone. Should be a good race, I just don't know if the main rider I follow, #7 James Stewart, is going to be racing. He confirmed earlier this week that his knee injury is a torn ACL. Man that is no fun when you don't have to kick-ass on a supercross track so I can't imagine what it's like when you are expected to! I worry though, if he continues to get hurt sponsors are not going to want to touch him with a 10 foot pole. The last few years he has been paid big bucks yet has only ran a small amount of laps at actual points races - not good.

That's It

Good 'nuff for today - tons more to rabble rabble about but I am running short on time so I figured hitting the highlights was better than no entry at all (*yeah yeah keep your clever remarks to yourself, no one likes a smart-ass*).

As mentioned at the start of my post it was another super productive day although I did not get any rest once again and I am ok with that. I have always been told that resting is for weeknights and retirement, I can't argue with that logic!
