Anyway, not much to rabble about other than that because the day is basically over and I've only done my ride, just over 31 miles, and it felt great to get the ride in early in the day and before the weather got bad. The downside to cycling the day before a holiday weekend is that there are so many flipping people out and they all seem to be amateur drives with their heads up their asses and minds on their destinations, not much else.
Hey what can I say, I made it back home safe and did not have too many problems to speak of so that's the way you always want a day on the bike to end. There will always be those 'close calls' but that's par for the sport.
With that, tomorrow is the 4th and we are heading downtown to the baseball stadium to watch the Aces game, then hopefully stay for fireworks if they have them. It will be Zoey's second 4th of July but the first she will really understand. We are looking forward to it, should be fun!
